UK 9th June, 2010 - StormMQ, an enterprise class message queuing platform designed for cloud, co-located or hosted deployment has publicly launched following a 6 month closed beta. As a fully managed service, StormMQ requires no capital expenditure on hardware or infrastructure and removes the ongoing cost and complexity of managing on-site message queuing servers and applications.
Developed by a UK based team that has spent the last decade working on major message queuing projects for some of the worlds largest telecommunication carriers and financial institutions, StormMQ embraces the AMQP standard and has an extensive development library support for a host of environments including Java, .NET, Ruby, Python and PHP on Linux, Windows, Solaris and Mac OS X.
Machine-to-machine message queuing is undergoing a major shift through globalisation with open standards and increased competition allowing more companies to take advantage of enterprise grade messaging, comments Raph Cohn, Managing Director of StormMQ, The issue for many organisations integrating disparate systems using message queuing has always been cost, performance, data security and regulatory compliance StormMQ is the only service to meet all these issues in a single, scalable and UK based platform.

This provides certificates on the location and ownership of hardware throughout any contract.
